| Bellhire plc NAMED 19th FASTEST GROWING COMPANY IN SURREY Surrey MegaGrowth names county’s top 50 Bellhire plc has taken 19th place in this year’s Surrey MegaGrowth, an initiative designed to highlight the strength of the county’s economy and the talent of its business people. Surrey MegaGrowth, which is a joint initiative by KPMG and Lloyds TSB Corporate, recognises the county’s most successful companies and aims to inspire others to emulate their achievements. Bellhire plc, a commercial vehicle and car hirer based in Morden, was named the 19th fastest growing company in Surrey due to the company recording an impressive 79% sales growth over the last three years. About the winners, Andy Lee, Lloyds TSB Corporate Area Director said: “This year's Surrey MegaGrowth 50 have all demonstrated their ability to achieve consistently strong profitable growth which sets an outstanding example to other businesses in the county. It's vital we celebrate their excellence and in doing so inspire others across the county to fulfil their own potential.” Andrew Clegg, Director for KPMG in Surrey added: “Despite the recent tightening in economic conditions, many of our companies entered 2006 with a strong bill of financial health. This year I am particularly struck by the wide mix of sectors represented and the healthy balance of large and smaller companies. In my view this diversity should be celebrated and reflects the real strength of Surrey plc.” |

Meanwhile National, which is in the process of jointly developing the LDV Dealership Programme, has placed an order for 140 of them. And it was all absurdly easy. It took just a hired van, two pairs of workmen'soveralls and a bogus delivery note knocked up in a few minutes. In the back of our gaudy Thrifty van we carried a brown box clearly marked BOMB. publication: The Sun |
